Baking was never my passion. I never thought that I would be making cakes in my whole life. However this journey started when my hubby went on a dieting spree 😊. First, he stopped eating refined flour, so I started making whole wheat cakes. But very soon he stopped eating wheat too, leading to my search for Glutenfree cakes. Believe me I went thru lot of trials to get the right texture and the perfect puff for the cakes. And here I am now with healthiest combination and completely “nature- al”, free from harmful preservatives Glutenfree Cake Flour, Premixes and much more.

So, the next prominent question is – what is Gluten?

Gluten is a family of proteins found in grains like wheat, rye, spelt, and barley. The two main proteins in gluten are: glutenin and gliadin. Gliadin is responsible for most of the negative health effects.

When flour is mixed with water, the gluten proteins form a sticky network that has a glue-like consistency. It also provides a chewy and satisfying texture. Interestingly, the name glu-ten is derived from the glue-like property of wet dough.
